Antique American Sessions Oak 8-Day Mantel Clock – c.1910–1925

Attractive early 20th-century American oak mantel clock by the Sessions Clock Company of Forestville, Connecticut, USA, dating approximately c.1910–1925.

The clock is housed in a handsome solid oak architectural case with attractive grain, moulded top and base and turned columns flanking the dial.

The silvered dial is signed “Sessions” and “Made in U.S.A.”, with bold Arabic numerals, decorative black hands and twin winding apertures.

Behind the removable rear panel is the original-style 8-day mechanical movement, with twin mainsprings and gong strike.

The clock retains its winding key and Sessions-marked pendulum bob.
