Antique Seth Thomas Oak Shelf / Mantel Clock – c.1905–1915

ntique American Seth Thomas 8-day mechanical shelf/mantel clock, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1905–1915.

Presented in a simple and attractive oak case with a warm aged finish and distinctive grain.

The hinged front door features two glazed sections, with the lower glass reverse-painted in black and gold around a clear oval aperture, allowing the pendulum to be viewed while the clock is running.

Large cream-coloured dial with distinctive black Arabic numerals and twin winding apertures for the traditional mechanical time-and-strike movement.

Complete with winding key and pendulum bob.

Dimensions: approximately 33 cm high × 23 cm wide × 11.5 cm deep (13 × 9 × 4½ inches).
