A DUTCH EXPORT SILVER SIFTER SPOON, imported by B H Joseph & Co, London 1894, the ornate pierced bowl decorated with scrolling foliage, flowers and birds around a central flower basket and larger bird, the C-scroll beaded handle with floral terminal issuing from a winged bust at the top of the spoon bowl. 21cm handle to lip, 1.5 troy ounces.

Marked '930' and with a lions head over a key, in addition to English import marks. Signs of previous repair to handle where it affixes to bowl. Split to bowl pierced work above central bird. Otherwise in generally good condition
