Broad passages of coral, rose and soft violet dominate the composition, intersected by dramatically contrasting areas of black, white, ochre and orange. Fine gestural lines, splattered pigment and layered surfaces introduce movement across the canvas, while the softer expanses of colour give the composition an unexpectedly atmospheric quality.
