A wonderfully colourful and unusual vintage 1992 Swiss Swatch “Chicchirichi” GR112 wristwatch, designed by Italian cartoonist and artist Massimo Giacon.
Featuring a playful rooster-themed design, this collectable Swatch has a vivid blue patterned strap, translucent red case and distinctive multicoloured dial.
What makes this example particularly appealing is its surviving original novelty packaging, including the specially designed egg carton, transparent Swatch watch case and illustrated cardboard display insert.
New old stock (NOS), unworn as catalogued at acquisition.
The watch appears very well preserved, retaining its bright original colours and distinctive patterned strap.
The original packaging shows some age-related storage wear, including damage to the cardboard display insert.
The watch is currently untested and requires a replacement battery. Operation and water resistance are not guaranteed.
