Up for sale is a wonderful piece of historical Australian workshop machinery. This is a genuine T.N.C. Super Lathe, manufactured in Australia as a licensed clone of the classic British Super Adept miniature bench lathe. Unlike standard watchmaker lathes, this is a dedicated model engineering machine featuring a built-in compound slide rest and a long leadscrew drive carriage. Please note: This is a partial frame only. No collets, tailstock, chucks, or motor are included with this lot.What’s Included:

• T.N.C. Cast Iron Bed: Authentic, heavy-profile cast bed rail featuring the iconic "TNC" branding raised elegantly on the left side casing.
• Headstock: Integrated headstock casting with a smoothly spinning multi-step drive pulley spindle.
• Leadscrew Drive: Complete with the long, overhung carriage leadscrew and its original black handwheel.
• Compound Slide Rest Carriage: Includes the relatively large, dual-axis adjustable slide rest assembly fixed to the saddle, complete with the top-mounted single-screw tool post.

Condition: Good vintage condition with a beautiful workshop patina and light surface marks consistent with age. Spindle spins freely, and the compound carriage tracks cleanly along the rails when winding the handwheel.
