Up for sale is a beautiful, highly precise precision watchmaking and clock restoration setup. This is a genuine F.W. Derbyshire 8mm WW-style watchmakers lathe, manufactured in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA.This machine features its original premium heavy nickel-plated finish and comes complete with its heavy integrated bench-clamp pedestal mount. Please note: No motor is included with this set.What’s Included:

• Derbyshire WW Lathe Bed: Premium 8mm heavy flat-topped prismatic alignment rail. The brass end cap is crisply stamped with the factory maker's mark.
• Headstock: Smooth-spinning, premium headstock stamped with the original Derbyshire script, serial number 2218, and marked "HARD" indicating factory-hardened steel bearings.
• Tailstock: Includes the essential matching original runner tailstock assembly.
• Tool Rest Holder: Complete with the tip-over style T-rest base clamped securely to the bed framework.
• 17-Piece Premium Collet Set: A fantastic assortment of standard 8mm WW collets covering a versatile range of micro, medium, and heavy sizes. Includes metric sizes: 2, 5, 6, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 22, 40, 41, 42, 44, 46, 47, and 50.
• BONUS PREMIUM IMPERIAL SIZES: This package specifically includes the highly sought-after No. 48 (3/16") collet. This is highly prized because it allows you to securely chuck standard, off-the-shelf 3/16-inch imperial metal rods from local hardware stores without needing to machine down raw stock first.

Condition: Fantastic vintage condition. The nickel plating has a gorgeous bright patina with only minor age spots. All mechanical components slide smoothly and lock down tightly along the alignment rail. Because it includes the matching tailstock and a massive 17-piece collet kit, it is a mechanically complete foundation—just add your own belt drive or motor system to start turning.
