Vintage “New Century” Watchmaker’s Cleaning Machine – 110V USA – Restoration

Original vintage New Century watchmaker’s cleaning machine, a substantial professional horological workshop machine designed for cleaning mechanical watch and clock components.

This traditional bench-mounted cleaning system features a vertically adjustable motor and spindle assembly, rotating cleaning basket/holder, heavy cast base and dedicated cleaning/drying stations.

The upper assembly is prominently cast “NEW CENTURY” and retains its original textured finish and period electrical equipment.

This is an increasingly difficult type of traditional watchmaker’s workshop equipment to find and would make an interesting restoration project, workshop display or addition to a collection of vintage horological tools.

Condition: The machine is currently not operating and is being sold as-is for restoration or repair. No attempt has been made to dismantle or electrically repair it.

It retains its original US 110/115V electrical configuration and American-style plug. It must not be connected directly to Australian 230–240V mains. A suitable step-down supply and professional electrical inspection will be required.

The machine shows genuine workshop wear, marks and age-related deterioration consistent with many years of professional use. We have deliberately left it unrestored.
