Stock Number: EMB-PW-008
An attractive vintage Omega Swiss mechanical pocket watch, featuring a classic white dial with Arabic numerals, elegant hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position.
Dating provisionally to the early-to-mid 20th century, this pocket watch represents the traditional craftsmanship of Omega, one of Switzerland's most respected watch manufacturers.
The watch houses a Swiss-made, 15-jewel, manually wound mechanical movement, signed OMEGA. Its gold-toned movement displays the traditional exposed winding wheels, jewelled bearings and balance assembly associated with quality Swiss watchmaking.
The silver-coloured hinged case features a decorative engine-turned inner cover, while the original-style fluted winding crown adds to its period character.
The watch is working, making it an appealing addition to a vintage watch collection or an attractive period timepiece for display and occasional use.
Working vintage condition.
The watch winds and runs, although accuracy, power reserve and service history have not been verified.
The dial presents well for its age, with some minor marks and signs of wear. There is a visible crack to the crystal near the upper portion of the dial.
The case exhibits surface scratches, rubbing, tarnishing and general age-related wear. The internal case surfaces also display marks consistent with previous handling and use.
The Omega-signed movement appears complete in the supplied photographs, although no formal watchmaker's inspection or servicing has been undertaken.
Sold in its present vintage condition, without a timekeeping or service guarantee.
Omega pocket watches remain popular with collectors of traditional Swiss horology, particularly examples retaining their signed mechanical movements and period dial arrangements.
This example combines classic styling, a 15-jewel movement and the charm of an early Omega pocket watch.
Suitable for collectors, watch enthusiasts or anyone seeking an authentic vintage mechanical timepiece.
