An unusual vintage Pulsar Masonic quartz wristwatch, featuring a striking textured gold-tone dial dominated by the traditional Freemasons' Square and Compasses with central letter “G.”
The Masonic emblem forms the principal decoration of the dial rather than being a small applied badge, giving the watch considerably greater visual presence than many commemorative or fraternity watches.
The dial is signed Pulsar Quartz and is housed in a gold-tone case with matching metal bracelet. Black and luminous-style hands provide contrast against the textured dial.
The stainless-steel case back is clearly marked:
PULSAR
The Y148 reference identifies the watch as using a Japanese analogue quartz movement from the Seiko/Pulsar family.
The Square and Compasses is one of the most immediately recognisable symbols of Freemasonry. On this example it is incorporated dramatically into the dial itself, making the watch appealing both as a vintage wristwatch and as a piece of Masonic memorabilia.
Maker: Pulsar
