Vintage WW Watchmaker's Lathe Headstock & Indexing Pulley – Restoration / Parts

Interesting vintage precision watchmaker's lathe headstock assembly with multi-step indexing pulley and associated components.

The substantial machined headstock incorporates a bed-clamping arrangement and precision bearing housings. Included is the original multi-step belt-drive pulley with a finely drilled indexing/dividing ring around the reverse face.

The indexing holes allowed the watchmaker to accurately divide and lock the spindle at predetermined angular positions for specialised horological and precision machining operations.

• Indexing/dividing plate
• Collet/spindle-related rings and fittings shown in photographs
• Associated locking and adjustment components

Please note: This is being sold as an incomplete headstock/restoration assembly. The main spindle appears to be absent and completeness cannot be guaranteed. All components included are shown in the photographs.

No maker's marking has yet been identified. Construction is consistent with traditional European WW-pattern precision watchmaker's lathe equipment.

Good original vintage condition with expected age-related wear, patina and light oxidation. Unrestored and untested.
