Ember Antiques Art & Clocks presents a growing collection of original works by contemporary Mongolian artist Tugsbaatar Daramsuren.

Daramsuren’s distinctive paintings combine bold colour, expressive form and symbolic imagery, often exploring human emotion, relationships, identity and the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds.

His compositions move between figurative and abstract expression, with stylised human forms emerging through layers of colour, texture and movement. The result is work that is immediately visually striking while inviting the viewer to develop their own interpretation.

A DISTINCTIVE CONTEMPORARY MONGOLIAN VOICE

Rather than relying on conventional portraiture, Daramsuren uses the human figure as a vehicle for ideas and emotion. Faces, bodies and abstract forms are simplified, fragmented and intertwined, giving many of his works a dreamlike and introspective quality.

Ember’s collection includes works such as The Woman’s Breath, The Senses, Feelings and Composition, with additional works to be added as the collection develops.

Each painting is individually catalogued with its title, date, medium, dimensions, signature and provenance where available.
